This car was owned by our Dad, garage kept and covered since1995. Only driven on nice days. Never driven on salt ridden, snowy roads duringwinter. No rust holes or rot. No door dings major scratches or dents. Checkoutthe photos. Small stone chips, paint blemishes are very few. Overall paintappearance and presentation is a solid “8+”. The plastic chrome trim around therear bumper is peeling. A new roll of replacement molding will be supplied withthe sale of the car. A very small blemish / cut is on the vinyl top approx.1/4” near the center of the roof. Not noticeable unless you’re cleaning it.Mileage is 129,737. Mileage will increase as the car is occasionally driven afew miles. Tires all match and are in very good shape with lots of miles left.
The engine runs smooth and quiet. It does not stumble, runrough or smoke when started at ambient temperature or fully warm at engine runtemperature. The engine is a 4.6L and is pretty good on fuel economyconsidering the size of the car. The transmission shifts smooth and positive.The car brakes smooth and doesn’t pull right or left nor does it vibrate fromwarped brake rotor conditions. Auto leveling suspension system functions asdesigned. The cars runs and drives extremely nice.
The interior offers all the creature comforts as expected ina Lincoln. Seats are in very good condition. The driver’s seat has a small1/4" tear which is very hard to locate to see. Overall interior and carpetis in very good condition. The leather was treated over the years with leatherconditioner and virtually no back seat passengers. Both driver and passengerseats are full power adjustable. All windows work properly including moonroof.Heat and defrost work fine. Headlights, brake lights, turn signals, door andrear passenger lights work. The A/C comes on but is not blowing cold air. Theanti-lock brake lamp on the dash is illuminated but does not affect brakingcapability or functionality. The interior passenger and driver’s dome lightdoes not work. The radio powers-up but it appears that it ate a cassette tape.
This car has a salvagetitle and was purchased in 1995 from the previous owner after the accidentreconstruction was completed. Check your state’s department of motor vehiclelaws before purchasing a vehicle with a “rebuild” or “salvage” title. Not surehow many of these cars in a “Presidential Town Sedan” were produced? This cargets tons of compliments when driven about. Keep it original if you’d like andenjoy a limousine ride for very little investment. This car would make anexcellent resto-mod candidate with a Roush crate motor and drive train upgrade.Stuff a set of “Coys Wheels” under it and blackout the windows now you’ve got anice ride without a ridiculously steep investment.
