1969 Lincoln Mark Series

I am a private collector and selling a few of my classic cars.

In this auction is the iconic Mark III--one of the most stylish masterpieces of Ford Motor engineering.Produced from 1969 to 1971, this early Mark III is a 2-door coupe and, for the early1970s, the perfect marriage of luxury and logic. The 1969 Mark III is one of the more desirable models in the Mark Series because Elvis Presley, James Brown and Arnold Palmer drove them.

It has abundant power, ample cabin space, and myriad creature comforts, making this Mark III a favorite among collectors of fine automobiles.

Overall, the car is good condition for its age, and this one is a perfect car for restoration.

the car has sat in covered storage for over three years

it is original, with a straight body, solid undercarriage, and good body panels

it is finished in white with a white coupe top

it has an original bill of sale and a Vermont certificate of title enroute

it has 53,079 original miles

it has automatic transmission and all power options

Under the hood resides the Ford 460 CID, naturally aspirated V8 with 365 horsepower. The engine has not been started for awhile, and it was running when it was parked.

History: the car has had several owners. The last three years the car has been in covered storage. The car needs a new paint job, but little to no body work because all of the panels are straight. The car has all is chrome and most of it is in good shape. There is minimal rust. The car has been sitting in storage. All of the interior appears present, and new carpet was purchased for installation.

Please look at all the pictures and ask any questions you might have.

Buyer is responsible for shipping costs. I can cooperate with your shipper and ship both domestically and internationally. The vehicle is advertised on other websites, so I have the right to end the auction early if it gets sold.

Please be ready to buy when you are the high bidder. A non-refundable $500 deposit is due upon auction end. The final payment is due within 7 days after the auction ends. Balance is to be paid via bank wire or certified bank cashier's check. Check must clear before the vehicle is released and the title is sent. The winning bidder needs to contact me within 24 hours of auction end to make payment arrangements. Please, arrange all financing prior to bidding. If you are not sure about anything, please don't assume - just ask. I'm very easygoing and will help in any way I can, but, please, be absolutely sure that you are ready to buy when you bid.

Due to the vehicle’s age, this sale is "Final" and "As Is."People have different opinions and expectations of older vehicles. It is your responsibility to personally inspect the vehicle, ask all necessary questions to your satisfaction, or send a third-party inspector that will perform an inspection to your satisfaction. Remember, this vehicle is from the 1970's, and even though I've tried my best to describe it, it is not a perfect show vehicle. It requires appropriate restoration and maintenance for maximum performance and enjoyment. The car is an excellent candidate for restoration for a truly beautiful classic that is constantly going up in value. Bid with confidence and bid to own!
