1979 Lincoln Continental 2 door coupe

Here is a rare opportunity to acquire a now very scarce car. The 4 doors outsold the 2 doors by 4 to 1 and you don't see many 4 door Continentals around any more. There can't be many of these Coupes left. I have owned this for the past 12 years and invested much money into paint and mechanicals, and once I had finished it it turned heads. I can send pictures of how it looked 9 years ago to show how it can look once again.
Because of a series of relocations, the car was parked on my friends farm under a tree which decimated the paint work. The clear coat is peeling on the truck lid and really all flat upper surfaces should be repainted. There are some dings from hail although not bad. It shows 91K on the speedo but no idea as to true mileage. There are some mechanical issues that need fixing before it would be reliable. There is much crap in the gas tank and so the fuel lines get bunged up. The tank needs to be dropped and cleaned. The other problem is that once it gets warm the engine struggles to restart. It is like the battery has gone flat, but it hasn't, it barely turns over, but if you leave it for 15 minutes it will start right up. I have no idea what is causing that.The Landau roof was shot, so I removed it. A new kit can be bought for $695. I have all of the trim pieces as well as a few spare parts.
On the good side, it has 4 new tires (less than 200 miles on them) a new battery, new carb, new alternator and many other parts. Once it gets started it did run well, currently it needs the vacuum lines reconnected. I drove it here from my previous address for a trip of 90 miles with no problem. Air works fine, steers well, brakes are good, cruise works. Old carb is included.
It is quite nice inside too.
I am getting on in age and I no longer am capable of working on it, so ot is time for someone else to take over and enjoy the boat-ride!
EBAY insists on a numerical value for the mileage, so I have entered what is showing on the odometer. I have no idea if that is the true mileage.
