This 1942 Lincoln Continental Cabriolet is a beautiful car, restored in the 1990's, and still in excellent condition today. It is finished in Maroon with tan stayfast top, runs and drives nicely, and is extremely rare, with only 136 of the war-shortened 1942 Model year produced. Nicely done V-12. The records on this car show the original engine was changed out for this post-war 305 cubic inch Lincoln V-12. Visually the same, - the Cast Iron heads were introduced in '42 - and it runs great! Good oil pressure, runs quietly and powerfully. . Nice engine bay, stock and correct looking. . The generator sits up top, and makes the proper voltage! . V-12 power, and hitting on all 12 cylinders! I noted an oil leak when the car sits. . Nicely trimmed trunk and original tools. .
