1979 Lincoln Continental Town Car

1979 Lincoln Continental Collector Series Rare Barn find with 4455 miles, All Original from the tires up. Original Texas title when bought new by 84 year old man and was parked in barn in 1985. Purchased new from Holiday Lincoln/Mercury Ft Worth TX. I sprayed off the inch of dust but have done nothing to the car. Interior is excellent, There is no wear on steering wheel woodgrain, brake pedal etc. See photos, Headliner is excellent, Power windows, seats and antenna work. Radio lights up but didn't get any sound. Trunk looks excellent with original michelin spare that matches the tires. Tool kit in original box still in trunk. Everything under the hood is original with D8 and D9 dates. The oil is full and looks surprisingly clean. Engine is not locked up. I have not tried to start it, as it would need gas tank drained and fresh gas put in. There is no fading on the paint, some rust along the thin trim piece that runs across bottom of trunk lid. Doors quarters fenders rocker hood and roof have no rust. Vinyl top is soft and excellent. With a Good body and engine compartment detail it would look great. Will need all new fluids etc. This is a 41 year old barn find and is sold as is. Local inspection before auction ends is welcome. Car is stored at zip 72327 Suburb of Memphis.
