Item location: Boise, Idaho, United States
Description:
1956 Lincoln Mark Series
Beautiful 1956/7 Continental Mk11.It is registered as a 56 but lacks the 7th frame member and has the mesh vent on the engine which make it a 57 model. The car started life in Washing state, then went to Oregon and has resided in Idaho since 1983.
The body is extremely straight and the underside free of oily residue. The engine starts first time and is incredibly smooth. At idle it is hard to identify its running.....yes that's smooth.
I just drove it at freeway speeds for 140 miles in 100 degree heat and it did not skip a beat.
The rear seat is original and dry and should be replaced if it's to be used. The Electric front seat has been reupholstered and works perfectly.
The fashion, door and floor is all in very good condition.
Electric windows operate as they should.Rear qtrs windows are non op currently.
Floats down the road,Bought as an investment that we can enjoy.
Original hubcaps will be included if the reserve is met.
