1989 Lincoln Town Car

The Reagan era had just come to a close and Poison, Paula Abdul, and Bobby Brown ruled the radio airwaves-and this car rolled off the assembly line. Luxury cars were big, smooth riding, and built with real steel. If you are looking for a unique car that is still completely functional and a real head-turner-this is it! This Old School Lincoln is 4,000 pounds of America at its best (last year of this Lincoln Body Style).
Honestly, I am not excited about parting with this car-but the time has come.
Here is the car's story: It was purchased new in Atlanta and had the same owner until 2010 (I have the manual, window sticker, and booklet for it). An Atlanta police officer purchased it at an estate sale and had it for a couple of months before I bought it in 2010. When I purchased the car it only had 64,911 miles on it. For the last 8 years it has been my daily driver and now has about 135,000 miles on it-still very low for a car that is almost 30 years old. The car rides incredibly smooth and V8 engine is powerful and much more fuel-efficient than you may think. The car is fully functional. I have the maintenance records from the original owner as well as the from when I have owned it. I have kept it in good running order with regular oil changes, etc. The battery is less than a year old, brakes done about 7,000 miles ago, and tires have 12,000 miles on them. I did install a "modern" radio/CD/import in the car, but I do have the original radio/cassette player that I can give you if you want the original.
This is not a show-quality car, but in very goodshape for being 30 years old (see notes on condition).
I love this car and want it to find a good new home. We recently purchased a new car and this is the logical one we need to part with.
