One of a kind! 1971 Lincoln Continental Mark III mock convertible with 460 big block V8, a gentleman's muscle car. The car was purchased as is by my father in 2013 all work was already done but appears to have been well. The roof was removed and finished to simulate a convertible how ever there is no top. The body is remarkably straight and damage free with no obvious signs of prior body work. The paint is a newer respray it appears to be a single stage yellow with hand painted red pinstripe. As you can see in the photos the underside of the the car is remarkably clean as well. The interior is in good shape, seats have cracks but no tears, power seats still fully functional, leather is nice but a little faded in spots. The engine is a 460 with dual 4 barrel Edelbrock performer carbs with matched aluminum intake and Edelbrock performer cam. A compression check was performed and shows 140-155 psi across all cylinders. Car runs like a dream and has enough power to almost be scary. The car has newer knock off wire wheels (there is however a little surface rust on the spokes form being in storage) and Coker tires that have probably less than a thousand miles on them. The car is located 30 minutes north of Kansas City, Mo.
