1989 Lincoln Town Car Cartier
This 1989 Lincoln Town Car Cartier is in excellent condition. The car is fairly rare (around 4800 made) and has original two-tone paint and Cartier cloth and leather interior. It has been a class winner at the Carlisle Ford show in 2016 and one of only six vehicles selected for the Carlisle 100 Years of Lincoln display at the 2017 Carlisle Ford show. Car will come with the award plaques and display boards as well as a Marti report showing the car's first owner as Ford Motor Company (it was likely an executive lease vehicle).Everything is in good working order (air conditioning, OEM JBL stereo, power accessories, trip computer). I have recently replaced spark plugs and wires, checked the brakes (still in good condition), serviced the transmission, and replaced valve cover gaskets to repair a small oil leak. The car runs quite well and very smoothly. Car is very clean under the hood and underneath (see photos).
Known issues: the washer fluid reservoir has a sensor to tell the digital instrument panel when the washer fluid is low. That sensor is faulty, so the self-check indicates the washer fluid is low even when it is not. It can be easily fixed with a new washer fluid reservoir - have not had a chance to do that myself. Original paint is in excellent condition, but as the car is almost 30 years old it's not perfect.
