Here is an absolutely beautiful 1941 Lincoln Continental V12 Coupe that has received a complete nut and bolt rotisserie restoration that is in great condition!!!! This gorgeous '41 Lincoln is presented in its factory original colors and fully equipped with the rare options of a factory overdrive, radio and white walls. This beautiful pre-war Lincoln has had an excellent restoration performed about 15 years ago and scored a 1st Place trophy by the CCCA and has been judged in national events and received a 100 point score, a 98 point score and a 97.5 score! This is truly a top quality car. The restoration has aged very well over the last 15 years and has traveled few miles since the restoration. This Lincoln has just been gone through to "re freshen" both the mechanicals and cosmetics with receipts totaling about $8000. The scope of the work was make sure everything works and make the paint and chrome look as best as it can. The results are what you see before you. The car drives excellent and everything works including the overdrive. The car fires right up and the beautiful flat head 12 cylinder engine runs beautifully! The paint job on this Lincoln was completed to a concours standard 15 or so years ago and has held up VERY well. The car was completely disassembled, hood, trunk, doors, glass, trim etc.. was all removed and painted separately. Even the bottom side of the body was repainted. The chassis was also stripped down and repainted as well. The body looks beautiful and all of the panel gaps are very nice. The body lines and seams on this car are virtually flawless. The paint has a very "deep" look and has great shine and depth. When the car was painted, it was done properly. All of the rubber seals were replaced after the car was painted and are all in great condition. The exterior is really set off by the great looking factory wheel covers wrapped in white wall tire, beautiful chrome bumpers, and bright work. This is a car that you could bring to a high level car show and show it with pride, or you could go on great long weekend drives in. Overall the exterior is in great shape showing minor signs of use. As an important note, in the photographs of the passenger side of the car the circular spot you see on the door is not a paint flaw but simply the sun reflecting off of the passenger mirror and onto the body! Click to enlarge Interior: The classic interior of this car is beautiful and in excellent condition. The front seats are like new and in excellent shape. They are free of stains, rips and tears. When the seats were reupholstered all of the foam was replaced as well. The interior is beautifully detailed featuring the "wood" window surrounds that look absolutely stunning. The interior features both a radio and a heater. The beautiful art deco dash is great to look at. They really did an amazing job designing these cars. All of the gauges are in great working order. Overall the interior of this car is beautiful and factory correct. Click to enlarge Engine: The classic flat head V12 fires right up and runs like a top. This engine was completely rebuilt and detailed to a showroom like finish as part of the restoration 15 or so years ago. The engine runs beautifully, it always starts and runs excellent. This engine has had lots of money poured into it and the car and the car runs GREAT!!! The engine bay was sandblasted and refinished to a high standard. The steering on this car is nice and tight and the car steers beautifully. The brakes work excellent as well. The car runs nice and cool even in Arizona's hot and dry climate. The car steers beautifully and the car tracks perfectly down the road. The bottom side of this Coupe is as well finished as the top side. Very few 41 Lincolns for sale are as clean and as well sorted as this car. This is a highly original, unmodified car and still features positive earth as well as a 6 volt battery.
