Hello, your at looking at a 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V, Givenchy Series Limited Edition. I am listing this for a very nice family friend who bought this car new. The car was purchased in Cleveland Tennessee and has remained in Tennessee since new. This car has 64,000 miles on it and is in very good condition. This car is equipped with every available factory option that I can find that was available in 1979. With the car is all of the paperwork since new including the original window sticker, ($18,000 new price) all manuals, dealer advertising, all maintenance documentation andLincoln garage door opener receiver for the garage door still new in the box in the trunk. This car has never been smoked in, no pets, always kept in a garage, new Interstate Battery, tires are new but several years old, car runs and drives good. It features an electric moon roof, factory installed Lincoln CB radio shown in the pictures, 8 track tape player, outside thermometer on the driver side rear view mirror, leather seats, plush carpet, and the list goes on an on. Everything works as it should. The car has never been wrecked, painted on, or damaged since new. There is one small spot of rust on the driver side at the base of the vinyl top where it meets the body. This is truly a neat and nice car. The body is very straight and the interior is very nice. The Givenchy series limited edition brass plate is on the dash with the original owners name engraved on it.

I want to make a change to the description for this Lincoln. I am not a Lincoln expert or do I declare to be an expert. I am listing this Lincoln for a very special Family friend and have used her knowledge of the life of the car to understand the background of it. I listed the car as a Givenchy Series Limited Edition as the engraved brass plaque stated on the dash plaque. The dash plaque has the owners name engraved in it from Lincoln Motor Company. I have had a couple of people email me and tell me it is not a Givenchy series model. I did some research and believe this to bepossible based on the information that I have seen. I do not know why the plaqueis on the dash or what the meaning of it being installed is. The owner does not have any knowledge of it being added after the purchase.I want to be perfectly clear and do not wantany misunderstandings.Thank you.
