The paint and body are in excellent condition as is the chromework. These cars were marketed to the status-conscious consumer as a luxurious, hand-built & exclusive automobile. These cars are recognized by the Museum of Modern Art as one of only Eight Automotive "Works of Art." I wholeheartedly agree. The interior has been completely restored. This is "Oxblood" colour leather and is in beautiful condition. The dash and instruments are just beautiful and intact throughout, including the original dial radio, clock, and speedometer. The steering wheel & horn ring are works of art by themselves. This is a translucent "Bakelite?" red steering wheel that really shows up in the sun. Be sure to play the video of this Lincoln on a country road test drive here - These photos were taken near the private owner's residence just outside of Rockwall, Texas. Inspections are welcomed and encouraged, by appointment only. The Flathead 292 cubic inch V12 engine runs very smooth and the 3-speed manual column-shift transmission shifts as it should. The engine was previously rebuilt along with the trans, but its been awhile. In the paperwork, this car was winning award after award back in the 1990s and early 2000s. The engine bay is clean and detailed. Twin 6-volt batteries have just been replaced. The correct oil bath air cleaner is in place as well, along with the 6-volt generator charging system. The original body identification plate is in place and legible as well. The convertible top was replaced and is in excellent condition. The power top is fully functional as are the power windows.
