PROVENANCE

3 known owners, the oldest from FL in the 90’s, then to CT up until the current owner for the last 7 years. Complete service records from the three mentioned including work from Lincoln experts - BAKER’S AUTOin CT andthe renowned John Cashman of FL, the electrical & power system specialist who amazingly travels the country performing “House Calls”.

~ CONDITION ~

EXTERIOR:Original Paint is in remarkably good condition considering its age. There have been touch-ups & could use some more in places where chips, minor peeling & cracking are evident, but overall, has a nice luster & is Good to Fair. All panels are Original, solid & rust-free w/ assorted small dings & indentations. A magnet stuck solidly over the entire car w/ absolutely no evidence of any filler. All brightwork is Very Good/Show w/ no visible rust or pitting & the stainless trim has a few small dents along top areas. All lenses, glass & badging are Very Good. The top w/ a rear glass window is Very Good/Show & the entire mechanism works FLAWLESSLY w/ no hesitation when using the dash toggle or the remote switch by the gas tank.TOYO TOURING RADIAL-SPECTRUM 235/75 R15 tires have full tread, no sidewall cracks & sport Very Good, Original Lincoln hubcaps.

INTERIOR: Original white Leather has been dyed to a cream color years ago & is failing in some areas that are particularly visible along rear valence. Fully-functioning, 6-Way power seats have obvious cracking but are intact w/ good cushioning & optional seat belts. Carpets are Very Good w/ exception of passenger side sill area. Door panels are Good, but both front door bottom edges have fabric fraying. Dash is Very Good w/ no cracks in pad & all gauges & bezels are clear & bright. Everything works, including AM/FM, iPhone etc. charger, power windows/locks, tilt-wheel, heater, wipers (all hydraulic windshield wiper hoses replaced recently), and auto headlight dimmer. AC did work on 4/26/16 after a recharge, then it wouldn't & now it does again later the same day. I know it sounds cliche, but it's intermittent & I think the clutch is sticking on the compressor.

ENGINE/DRIVELINE: Very close to a detailed engine bay, needing only some cosmetics. Engine is very quiet showing no drips or leaks w/ smooth shifting trans. Correct manual fuel pump was installed, carb rebuilt & full, correct, no-expense spared, maintenance when needed as detailed in extensive records.

UNDERCARRIAGE:Very clean w/ no evidence of leaks. Newer exhaust & complete Stainless Steel brake lines. All bushings, shocks & springs in VG condition. Solid floor boards w/ little to no surface rust anywhere.

MECHANICAL/ROAD TEST:Excellent mechanical condition w/ any & all matters tended to immediately. Superb ride unlike any other car then or today, exhibiting unbelievable smoothness w/ an uncannily quiet ride, a trait these Lincolns were known for.

SUMMARY

The world’s only production 4 door convertible since 1961 and this, the 2nd to last year of the iconic “Suicide Door” or in today’s parlance, the “Entourage Car” is a true collectible & is still a marvel to look at & drive. With only 3,180 produced, it was rare then & even rarer today especially in this original, unmolested, #3 condition.

Bank Wire Transfer - Preferred Method.

PayPalfor maximum allowed $2000.00 Deposit. Balance (if needed) of 10% deposit must be paid via other accepted means in time specified.

*Cashier's Check etc. must be mailed to Owner or Seller at least 5 days before P/U, or if bringing check in person, mail a copy 5 business days before arrival so that funds may be verified.

Cash & Personal checks will be accepted with prior agreement.

Any form of payment must clear before release of item/vehicle. Original title will be released to buyer upon verification of funds. If a 3rd. party is picking up/delivering vehicle, the title will be sent to buyer upon confirmation of receipt of vehicle.

* A deposited, in-state Cashier’s Check normally takes 5-7 banking days before funds are available. Out-of-state/country & personal checks can take 10 -15 banking days to clear.
