1993 Lexus LS --

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1993 Lexus LS400. The Lexus LS400 is an exercise is perfection. When Lexus, Toyota's new luxury brand at the time, set off to make their flagship sedan, it was intended to compete with Mercedes and BMW so they left nothing to chance. The result of their efforts is the LS400, one of the best built luxury automobiles in the world. Everything about this car was over designed and over built. Its lines are beautiful. The interior is nearly silent...and the engine is a de-tuned version of a TRD racing engine. I would rate the exterior of this LS400 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a gorgeous sedan. It is finished in black and gray two tone over black leather, which looks good. The black finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this Lexus. All of the trim and cladding is present and shows well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with deep tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how exceiptionally clean this LS400 looks. Pride in ownership shows throughout this luxury sedan. I would also rate the interior of this LS400 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. In addition to being exceptionally clean, this is a very well optioned and complete LS400. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. If you look closely, you can see that a small section of fabric is loose by the front of the sunroof shade...not too bad for an old car. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The leather seats are clean and comfortable throughout the interior. The only really negative thing I can say about the interior is that the dash lights do not work, as you can see in the photos. The factory premium audio system powers up, works properly and sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. In the arm rest is the original factory optional cellular phone, perfectly intact. The trunk is spacious and clean. Inside the trunk is the factory optional CD changer, original First Aid kit and the original tool kit. Again, this is one of the most original and complete first generation LS400s I've seen in years. Pride in ownership definitely shows throughout this entire sedan. Mechanically, this Lexus appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.0L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. As I mentioned earlier, this engine is a de-tuned version of a successful Toyota racing engine. These engines easily run 300k+ miles and they are as smooth as silk. She keeps good temperature and there have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfectly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The only tricky thing is that you cannot see the speedometer at night...and daytime driving is still a guess, just a better guess than night time. Also, I have no idea how many miles are on this Lexus. The title will not show mileage because this LS400 is more than 10 years old. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
