It's a private sale, I am not a dealer, and I have just imported this outstanding Defender of mine from Europe to Florida last month.Now it's registered in Florida, titled, and insured. Classic plates! Cheaper Insurance!

It has been my personal vehicle since 2007, we have 4 kids, so this Defender was their childhood automobile - summer trips to the countryside every year, mini expeditions etc... and now the kids are grown up, and the Land Rover has been rejuvenated big time: we have just completed a total restoration in August 2022: this Defender has sand blasted, then galvanized original frame, overhauled engine, transfer case, transmission, new clutch, new diesel tank, new locks, handles, hinges, doors, new alloy wheels, new tires etc. Have hundreds of pictures, which were taken during this complete nut-to-bolt restoration, so you can be sure this is a real deal.
Currently the Landie has 179 k kilometers on the speedometer which equals to 107k + miles.
I have intentionally left the interior all original, except for the ceiling which was re-upholstered in dark velvet.
HM The Queen of England, Elizabeth, also preferred standard factory interior in her Defender, so I don't think I qualify for anything better. Also, pampered leather seats and all kinds of luxury attributes in these Land Rovers look a little awkward to me. Why? It's supposed to be a spartan machine. So, it is.
Drives well, the front vents and sunroof make it bearable even in Florida weather without the AC.
Excellent candidate for extensive upgrades- be it for an expedition, or luxury/ performance upgrades.
As I have said, I prefer this Land Rover to be as close to the original condition as possible, because I see absolutely nothing wrong in this laconic, yet elegant and iconic machine.
This is one of the few vehicles left nowadays that still have a soul. A real character. Yes, the design is far from perfect, it's a little awkward to drive nowadays, very spartan interior and feature list, but that's exactly why it is such an icon today. Someone always honks and shows thumbs up whenever I venture outside in this Defender. It's as Macho as it gets, but in a subtle, ambiguous way.
