Vehicle DetailsThis 1987 Defender 110 was imported from Turkey and rebuilt by Highgate Motors in Barrington, Illinois. It is painted in Nardo Grey. A GM LS 3 V8 with 6 speed 6l80 automatic transmission was installed. Additional modifications include external roll cage, revised suspension, power windows and locks, X Bull winch, 18 inch Project Kahn wheels, four wheel disc brakes, heated front seats, air conditioning, cruise control, side steps, rear ladder, receiver hitch, Pioneer touch screen stereo with Bluetooth, remote start, MB quart z line speakers, VDO Instrumentation, leather door panels, full carpet and much more.
The Project Kahn wheels are mounted on Toyo 275/70 MT tires. Suspension modifications include Foxshocks, replacement coil springs, Terra Firma front and rear radius arms, Panhard rods, and a Bilstein stabilizer. The Roof basket and rear step are easily removed.
The seats are high back Exmoor Elite MK2 in black leather with red stitching. The rear bench seats have seat belts for four making the seating total of 8. The leather wrapped Momo steering wheel is quite comfy. The build alone was over $136,000. I have a clean Virginia title. It has just over 2,100 miles since rebuilt. There is a small paint peel on the passenger side rear (see picture) It runs great, looks great, and sounds incredible. This truck really turns heads.
