Restored D90 NAS with Galvanized Chassis

1994 Land Rover Defender D90 NAS

This 1994 Land Rover Defender 90 was acquired by the seller from its original owner and underwent an extensive restoration in 2021 with a galvanized chassis, an ARB front bumper, a new NAS rear bumper, stainless-steel roll cage bolts, and a 2″ suspension lift, replaced the driver and passenger side floors and battery tray, and replacement of the head gaskets, head studs, water pump, front main seal, and oil pan gasket. The restoration also included resealing the transfer case, servicing the brake system, and reupholstering the seats. The truck is powered by a 3.9-liter V8 mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case, and it features a black soft top, a brush guard, LED marker lighting, 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels, and a rear-mounted spare tire. The truck is #274 of approximately 2,000 North American Specification examples imported to the US for the model year, and the aluminum body is finished in its original Portofino Red with black wheel arch flares and a Badger Coachworks black soft top over the padded roll cage.Factory 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels wear 285/75 BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires mounted in 2021. Stainless steel brake lines and fresh dust shields were fitted at each corner along with replacement rotors and pads. During the refurbishment an Old Man Emu 2″ lift kit was installed along with spring isolators and bump stops, front and rear stabilizer bar bushings and end links, steering bars and tie rods, as well as swivel ball seals.The lower foam on the front bucket seats was replaced along with the entire rear bench, and fresh upholstery was installed in 2021. Additionally, the cylinder head gaskets, studs, water pump, fuel line, front crank seal, timing cover gasket, oil pan gasket, battery, radiator, cooling fan clutch, starter, spark plugs, oxygen sensors and stepper motor have all be replaced. The blower motor lever was adjusted, and the hazard switch was replaced. The D90 shows 98k miles and is offered with the original window sticker, 1994 sales documents, the originalowner's manual, a spare safari soft top, extensive service records dating back to 1994 and a clean NJ title in the seller'sname.
This is an incredibly sorted truck ready for someone to enjoy for many years to come. There are some imperfections and scratches in the paint as you will see in the photos. Given this truck has its original paint I wanted to keep that as is.
