We have the privilege of offering this classic 1988 Land Rover 110 V8 County Station Wagon with a 5-speed manual up for sale. This is a factory V8 engine with LT85 gearbox. Affectionately named "Monty”, this 110 is finished in Land Rover Chamonix white. Its very clean inside and generally in original and in unmodified condition. The 110 (technically pre-Defender before 1990) starts easily and runs very smoothly. It's in good solid condition including chassis, outriggers, rear-cross member, bulkhead, floors and panels. The frame is complete and has no previous welding. The engine sounds lovely and pulls strongly like a beast of a V8 should. The V8 pushes down the road and over any challenge you can throw at it, the V8 grumble is impressive. The vehicle's road manners are what you would expect from a classic Rover. The suspension feels tight and well sorted, steering and braking perform to satisfaction, as they should. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. No driving abnormalities are present and its a true joy to drive.

It doesn't run hot and previous service work noted includes a new radiator fitted, distributor, leads, plugs, fuel tank, fuel pump, spark plugs and coils fitted so it's all set and ready to be driven! The interior is very clean and original, the seats show very well, especially considering its a 31 year old 110. Overall this Land Rover is in good condition and operates exactly as it should.
