Lots of questions were asked last week...I really thought it was sold. Up again! A sincere thanks to all of you that got in touch about this truck!

OK... Lets face it, o one "needs" a 110 Firetruck...

That includes me as well.

I bought this from the broker we usually use in the Midlands; he bought it from a private airfield near Birmingham. I have had it about 3 years.

I thought (and still do think) it is the coolest thing ever...the pump works,PTO works, ights work, iren works etc..... really fantastic

And it only has 17,000 original, ocumented miles! I have the V5 from the original registration!

My wife was not nearly as thrilled as I with this purchase. 

The truth is I am not driving it much at all and I can use the cash out of it to buy another 110.

Upon arrival this truck needed very little and we did what was needed but it was not much. It had a full tune up, ome hoses changed all fluids changed, rakes bled and adjusted and generally cleaned up.

The interior is a bit beyond cool!

There are custom side lockers/hatches on either side, hat is the water tank in there...all stainless steel!:

Engine and driveline is all is amazingly nice shape....no clunks, angs, bad leaks or general Defender stuff we all are used to...this is what a truck with 17k is like!:

A pillar on both sides bottom is ratty. PS should be fully replaced, S can be fixed. PS B pillar surface rust but should clean up (YRM parts included in sale)

DS B pillar....just fine, aybe slight rust under there but nothing serious at all:

Both floorboards have surface rust. PS is worst. I think both can be fixed with patches and should not require a full floor panel

DS Floor, gly but not bad:

Some rust on crossmember. Needs a patch but is still 100% OK to use.

Chassis has surface rust but noting serious. Really just dirty more than anything.

Some aluminum corrosion causing paint to bubble in a few spots. Overall paint is fantastic.

I am not in the fire department! I asked local guys from our neighborhood station to stop by...did not take much convincing at all! They checked it all out and said the pump worked. The hoses went into the big aluminum squares on top...the hoses are missing but apparently they were used to draw in water not to spay out.... I was told that the hoses are pretty generic and should not e difficult to locate.

All lights and siren work. Word to the wise.... the local police might not find the siren nearly as cool as you do; at least they did not find it as cool as I did...

This is a twin carb, ow compression V8 (designed that way) coupled to a LT77 tranny and a 1.4 LT230 transfer. Rear axle is a Salisbury drum and front is standard disc. Mechanically it is a dream, ot to say it will not need any work but there are simply NO miles on this. This truck needs to be driven!

This is a factory built firetruck. The ID plate is shown in the interior picture above. There are VERY, ERY few factory firetrucks out there. What this means is that this was built at the factory to be a firetruck not converted after the fact. To say it is a rare collector item would be an understatement.

The brutal truth is this is a fantastic 5 door 110 that just happens to be a firetruck. A bit of work and this will be back to a standard 5 door 110 with 17,000 miles! I could not bring myself to do it but if you have been looking for the ideal base for a custom 110 this is it. We are willing to discuss "de-firetrucking" this with you as we are a full service shop. That would depend on our schedule. We can discuss before sale but any work like that will be AFTER the truck is paid in full and title is exchanged.

I am not "flipping" this truck. I bought it for myself and now it is the time to let it go. I am not trying to make a mint on it..... look at some of the crap on E By a then come back here :)

The BIN is $10,500. The reserve is very close to that. I am mentioning this because if you want it then it might be wise to grab it at $10,500.... I have no real hope for this bidding up high dollar but you never know. It is well worth $10,500!

Truck is currently tagged and titled in my name in Georgia. Title and Bill of Sale will be provided upon payment in full. All original importation paperwork will be provided as well as UK V5.

We will deliver the truck within 300 miles at no charge. We might, o promises, e convinced to go further. Any miles in addition to the initial 300 will be billed @ $1.65 per mile to be paid in cash upon delivery.

Dont plan on showing up and driving home. I think it would be fine but it has seen very few miles over the past 3-5 years and just not a good plan to get it on the highway without a thorough shakedown.
