This is a 1984 Land Rover Defender 110 300TDi Diesel 4x4 right hand drive. It has a clean California title and registration valid until July 2018. This is a super rare California SUV. You hardly ever see California registeredx Defenders. This SUV also has ZERO rust and the body is pretty straight and solid. I was told the previous owner was a Politician from Sri Lanka and it was used very seldom in within the government in its early years.
The interior of the SUV is in great shape! All the seats are in great shape is BRAND NEW. Every seat, door panel, dash and headliner was just redone! The carpet does not have any holes or tears. The interior smells nice and clean with no weird odor or smell. The interior doesn't have any missing pieces and is complete. The only blemish on the interior is that the passenger front door can only be opened from the inside. I am not sure why maybe something came loose. Other than that, everything in the interior is in solid shape. The interior is fully loaded with rear A/C, back up camera and a killer sound system.
The exterior of the SUV is in great shape. This is a California SUV and it has ZERO rust anywhere! The paint has no flaw what so ever! It shines like it just rolled off the factory assembly line! No major dents or dings. All the lights work like they should. All the glass and doors open and close fine. All the lights and glass are all crack free. If you look very closely there are very minor dings but nothing than be noticed 10ft away. Overall the exterior is in great shape.
Mechanically, the SUV is in great shape! This has the very rare and desirable 300TDi engine installed from a newer Defender. The suspension feels nice and tight. The SUV drives straight as an arrow and does not pull to any side. The steering wheel is not straight and that might need to get aligned, other than that the truck drives straight. The car does not leak any fluids. The engine does not shake or make any weird noises. It doesn't smoke and the engine is very solid and tuned well. The transmission shifts prefect and doesn't grind any hears or pop out. The SUV overall is in pretty solid shape. I would easily buy a one way ticket and drive it to anywhere back anywhere land permits! I would not hesitate to drive this to New York tonight!!
This is a true collectors car and is in really great shape for it's year. Defender 110 is an iconic SUV and this one has a lot of upgrades and is in great shape!
