1986 Defender 90 with a naturally aspirated
rebuilt diesel 4-cylinder engine with less than
1500 miles, 4wd with locking center differential
and Michelin XL military tires to keep its original look.
This Defender is left hand drive and was imported
from Italy. The Defender was repainted and
partially restored in 2016 to a 2016 style. It was
painted white with a black roof and clear lights
with rock sliders like the 2016 model TD5.
Since importation the following has been done
by Performance Rovers Inc. in Matthews, North Carolina; installed a custom front bumper and winch with synthetic rope and LED daytime driving lights, converted the headlights to LED headlights, black diamond plate wing top protectors were added and replaced the plastic wing top vents with black billet aluminium wing tops from SDO outfitters, installed a Rovers North shovel that was powder coated black to match trim, installed Mantec snorkel, added a custom Voyager adventure roof rack system with integrated rear ladder and removable basket section for the installation of the ARB roof top tent(amazing sleeper with built in mattress), added 4 LED off road lamps across the front of the roof rack(the brightest made), installed dual Front Runner Jerry can set up on adventure rack, installed new Hi-Lift jack on drivers side of roof rack, added a new ARB side awning mounted on the passenger side of the roof rack, installed a Power Tank mount for propane tank to the rear ladder, installed a rear work lamp at the top of the rear roof; Inside the Defender steering wheel was replaced with a MotoLito custom steering wheel, dog guard with gun rack was installed, and a National Luna dual battery controller set up with new Blue Top and Red Top Optima batteries and custom mount were installed.
