This is a very rare opportunity to own an extremely low mileage 1995 Range Rover Classic LWB County Soft Dash in excellent condition. The 1995 LWB Soft Dash is considered the most collectible of all Range Rovers. It is the last year of this body style where all the bugs were worked out. It was the top of the line Land Rover had to offer. It is the only year of production for the “soft dash.” I get second looks and thumbs up everywhere I go. These trucks are only increasing in value and are considered an appreciating investment.
I have only positive feedback and have only sold cars/trucks on eBay. I only buy about one a vehicle per year; get them all fixed up, make them my daily driver, and then look for my next project. I am only selling this truck because I have my eye on an old Westfalia. I am not a dealer.
This Rover has a clean title, with no brands, or accidents. It’s a rust-free truck, that’s always been on the West Coast where we don’t use salt on the roads. It has always been adult owned and never abused or used to 4x4. Everything is right with this truck. I've also just had it professionally detailed (the additional photos are from when I picked it up at the detail shop).
This Rover has been meticulously maintained at a local and respected Land Rover shop. All the maintenance is up to date and there are no warning lights on. The air bag suspension has been converted over to springs and all other “typical” problems have been corrected. This has been my daily driver and I would not hesitate to drive it across county. It’s a great classic truck yet has mostly all the modern conveniences.
I have driven this truck for about a year and have had zero issues with it. It passed emissions without issue. When I first purchased it, I brought it to a local Land Rover shop and had them fix every issue. I also had them install a 2” spacer to each spring, giving it a slight lift. I then purchased some oversized BF Goodrich tires to fill the gap. I wanted to give it a beefier look but keep it classic at the same time; where you couldn’t tell if it was stock or not. The slight lift doesn’t affect the ride at all; still completely smooth.
The only item that could be replaced is the radio; it doesn’t sound good and takes a bit to warm up. I kept it because I typically only listen to AM and love the original look. I’d rate the mechanics 9/10.
The interior has slight wear on the driver’s seat but nothing of significance. The headliner was professionally replaced and everything else is in great condition. Everything works as it should and the AC blows ice cold. I’d rate the interior an 8/10.
I was told by the previous owner that it had been repainted once about a decade ago; the original color. He said there were no accidents, it was only due to fading. No accidents show up on the Carfax report. Also, the body is aluminum so there is no rust. There are slight dings and some blemishes on the hood and top (shown in additional photos), but overall it looks really good. I’d rate the exterior 7/10.
