1985 Land Rover Defender 90
This is a 1985 Defender that I acquired about a year ago. This past December, I had the 2.5 NA diesel engine professionally replaced with a new 300 tdi that currently has about 320 miles on it. Before receiving the vehicle, it was completely restored by East Coast Defenders who also converted it to a LHD and added a few extras like new lights and front grill. Tires are in great condition and have thousands and thousands of miles of exploring left on them.Pictures do not do it justice. This is a beautiful vehicle and runs great – can easily reach highway speeds without topping it out. It does come with an aftermarket airconditioner which is mounted in the vehicle but not connected to any power source.There are a few chips in the paint, but besides that there is nothing wrong. When the engine was swapped, I had the mechanics check out everything on the truck and they assured me it was in wonderful condition, visually and mechanically.
