Courage Automotive are pleased to offer for sale this lovely original 1991 Defender 110 finished in Alpine White, she comes fitted from factory with the legendary 200 TDI Turbo Diesel engine and LT77 5-Speed Gearbox which are both in perfect working order. The vehicle has covered 430,000km from new but please don't let this put you off, she drives better than vehicles with half the mileage and unlike most 25 year old Defenders this example has not had a new clock!
Note this is a British made Land Rover, as demonstrated on the documents and chassis number.

This particular vehicle is rather special and rare in that it's had only one owner from new who was a university professor in Madrid, he used the vehicle to travel extensively round Europe and northern Africa and we have a gallery of photos documenting her travels. The owner also liked to maintain the vehicle to the highest standards so it comes with a full comprensive service history from new with all the original Land Rover Madrid receipts, also present is the original Land Rover spare key and keyring.
First registered in Spain during summer 1991, this is all documented on the Spanish paperwork, I am happy to share copies of the docs with interested parties. We have ordered a heritage certificate which will accompany the documents.
We purchased the vehicle off the original owner in Madrid, and drove her 650km (400 miles) home cruising at a constant 50-55mph without any problems. She's covered a reasonably high 430k km from new but when you start to study the service invoices you can see that thousands have been spent on replacement parts on suspension, brakes and engine. 80k ago she was fitted with a refurbished gearbox.
Condition is extremely original, she's never had any paintwork or accident repairs, there are plenty of minor dents and scratches here and there which are consistant with the age and mileage of the vehicle, the interior is in good condition but obviously shows it's age. This Defender has not been abused off-road, one drive and a look underneath will confirm that. We can supply additional photos and videos upon request.
Absolutely no rust on the vehicle, chassis, doors and bulkhead are in fantastic condition.
Drives great, starts first time hot or cold, power steering works fine, gearbox selects all gears perfectly with no synchro crunch, engine smooth and powerful.
