In my professional opinion, this 1971 Land-Rover represents the pinnacle of Land-Rover’s engineering prowess. The advent of the Series III, to my way of thinking, began the downturn of Land-Rover excellence, with numerous “improvements” of dubious merit. A copy of the original British gevernment release documentation reflects fewer than 7,000 miles when released, is available from our files.
