Right hand drive, four speed manual transmission, with rare overdrive. This was repowered with the Daihatsu 2.8l diesel engine while still in the UK, which is a fairly common upgrade option. Paint is flat military green. Safari roof option. Get in and drive it anywhere pretty much. The upgrades I've done are changing glowplugs to a 12v system, fuel system transfer pump, changed transmission and overdrive oil to royal purple, battery.
The truck is an excellent example of an unrestored original 45 year old vehicle. It has a bit of rust on the door frames (shown in the picture) but the bulkhead and frame are in excellent condition. I bought this and don't drive it enough to do it justice. I use it around town for doing errands and grocery shopping. It gets a lot of attention wherever you go. Please ask questions prior to buying or submitting an offer. Also, its a diesel, imported and titled in California prior to the imposition of rules that make it nearly impossible to own these vehicles in California. It's beautiful and rugged, restore it or drive it as-is.
