However, the mid-80's powerplants were tough as nails but slow and almost unusable on modern roads. So, we fixed that. A 200TDi with a 300TDi turbo and intake were fitted into this vehicle, along with all new Allisport equipment, to substantially increase the power output and make this Defender as much fun to drive around town as it is off road. Given the rarity of this vehicle in the US, the quality of the craftsmanship and overall condition of this vehicle, we think this is the best Defender 90 offered today and is priced to move.
