1980 Land Rover Other

This is a 1983. eBay requires a VIN, but doesn't recognize the Land Rover VIN! Actually VIN is below.
This 109 has just had a respray and looks pretty sharp. The canvas hood is brand new this week!!! I have old military one as well. It could be made into a bikini top maybe?By the way, this new top, the sides roll up and secure nicely for an open safari like ride.
It starts and runs down the road fine.
I don't know much else about it because I haven't had it long. This was supposed to be a vehicle for my son, but health concerns have put this aside for now.
Wipers do not work, but the motor works, I think they just need to be attached right.
Spare tire is rubbish.
The guy I bought this from thought these tires were high profile as we requested, they are just simple truck tires, but they are however brand new.
It comes with the original shovel and pick that mount to the rear tailgate. The straps need replacing I'd say though.
The Bumperettes are new and were added to recreate the military look.
I do not know too much more about it as we've not been able to do anything else to it yet.
There doesn't seem to be any real bad rust issues anywhere other than the rear bed near the tailgate area but it's fairly minor. The underside had been coated at onetime, so that's probably what has keep the rust down.
