1982 Lancia ZAGATO SPYDER

In 1969 Lancia was purchased by FIAT. By 1973 Lancia had introduced a Coupe, ased on the Berlina with similar mechanics but sitting atop a shortened wheelbase. Later, he famous Italian design studio, ininfarina, as tasked with designing a convertible based on the Lancia Beta Coupe. Zagato was tasked with building the design. The result was the Spider, nown in the United States as the Lancia Zagato. During its production lifespan, 390 examples were produced.
By 1981, roduction of the Berlina ceased with the Spyder continuing for a year before being discontinued.
This Zagato is a great driving car! 2 Ltr Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection with 108 HP and 114 lb-ft torque. Leather is worn and looks its’ age. Slight dent in rear quarter panel. Odometer reads 5,033.
