This 1983 Jeep CJ7 Limited is an extremely rare find. It is a 2 owner Jeep in great condition and Rust Free. It is really quiet driving it with the heavy insulated carpet, eadliner, ngine hood insulation. The Jeep is smooth, rives great and is enjoyable to drive in town, n traffic and even on twisty mountain roads. This classic Limited would make a the perfect restoration candidate with a rust free body or simply plate it and enjoy in the summer, inter or use to daily drive.
Engine:This Jeep has a 6cylinder 258 4.2L motor. It starts easily, dles and runs great. New valve cover gasket and fresh oil change. I notice a small amount of oil on the pavement in the garage after driving it the next morning. I will update the listing September 9th with an engine bay photo.
Transmission/transfer case:The transmission is a TF999 3spd automatic that shifts easily and smooth. The 4x4 works excellent both in high and low range. The 4wheel drive will indicate on the dash once it is engaged.
Interior:Gray and blue limited interior color package. The Interior is almost all original except the new front seats. I do have the original passenger seat but do not have a drivers front seat to match it(I will include the original in the event you can find an original). The carpet is in good condition and has a thick insulation pad that had factory adhesive to the floors. The blue roll bar padding is in excellentconditionas is the leather grab handle bar. The front dash pad has some cracking, he original center console locks. All interior gauges, eater, ignals, orn, ipers (has delayed option), eadlights, radio all work. The stock radio was swapped out for a detachable CD player. The factory AirConditioningblows cold!
Drivetrain, teering/Suspension:The Jeep has a 4" suspension lift kit and stock drive train. The power steering box was replaced last week and steers with ease. The Jeep drives smooth and brakes easily. Four wheel drive works both high and low gears and indicates on the dash.
Body, aint, ust:The body is in excellent condition, t is a RUST FREE Jeep. The underside of the passenger floor has a dent, ot sure how with the steps but view photos. There is a small ding/dent on the drivers front fender and misc chips, aint imperfections, cratches and blemishes. The paint overall appears to be original with original pin striping. The front clip, ood, owling and window frames are faded.
Overall a very nice clean and original Jeep CJ7. The passenger rear chrome bumperette is bent.
Doors/Bikini Top/Hardtop:The doors are both in excellent condition, he windows roll up and down, he door panelsare in excellent shape without rips or tears. The wing on the passenger side opens, ocks but the drivers side locking piece broke off (I will include that piece). A black bikini top is included. The hardtop originally was silver then repainted black and could use a fresh coat of paint. All glass is good. The factory interior headliner is in great condition!is clean and looks great. The rear lift gate shocks hold the window tight and opens and closes easily.
Tires/Wheels:The tires are 33x12.50x15 with approx 60% tread. The wheels are alloy 15x8 in excellentcondition!
Title/Bill of Sale:I have a clean Colorado title and bill of sale for the Jeep.
Paperwork/receipts:I have the records since it was new including: the original invoice, indow sticker, wners brochures, ooks, anuals and repair receipts.
Factory Fog Lights and Winch:The factory fog lights work perfect! The Warn 6000lb winch works great, ncludes a push bar, ollerfairleadand a wired remote is included!
Overall:This is a beautiful and rare 1983 Jeep CJ7 Limited. The Jeep is used and I may have missed something in the listing, lease be sure to ask any questions and settle all questions prior to bidding or winning the auction. It is being sold as is, here is, ithout warranty or guarantees. I am not required for your state emission or safety inspections including Colorado. The vacuum lines for the emissions system were removed when the newcarburetor was installed.
