1989 JEEP WRANGLER BASE MODEL WITH THE 4.2 ENGINE AND NEW MEXICO SHEET METAL!!
1989 Jeep Wrangler BASE
Selling my 1989 Jeep Wrangler Base model with the hard to find sand color paint code PY5!! This jeep has the perfect auto-check and car-fax reports. It has been in New Mexico all most since new and that sheet metal looks so nice from there!! This is just a base model nothing fancy and I enjoy driving around town in it when I can. The seats are about perfect except for a little wear on the driver seat, It has the straight 6 engine with the automatic transmission which were harder to find back in the day. It has a new carburetor so it just purrs when idle. The jeep has the 20 gallon fuel tank and all lights work outside and inside. the paint look fabulous but I'm sure with a good buff job it would look new. All gauges work but the gas gauge has a mind of it own. The horn and heat do not work and I have not even look into it could be just a fuse but not sure. Radio works and the soft top is from 2021 and in good shape. The windshield does have a small rock chip in it. The left rear lower under gas filler neck had a small dent and was repair/painted by the previous owner. This jeep runs great down the freeway and would be a great jeep to cruise around town as summer is coming. The tires are like new. I did a oil flush and change front and rear diff fluid so this jeep is ready to roll! The jeep is located in Denver Colorado and I can suggest a shipper if you need one. The jeep comes with the owners book and a few invoices over the years. If the jeep does not hit my reserve I will just enjoy it for summer! If you need more pictures please ask!
