1976 Jeep CJ
6 Jeep CJ-5 base with 232 engine, 3 speed manual, bikini top, full soft doors, and full soft top. Mechanically solid. New master cylinder. Factory AM radio, and retro sound Bluetooth radio in the security console. Bought the jeep locally about 2.5 years ago. Has been garage kept for at least the past 15-20 years. I have never driven this jeep in any weather. Has newer gas tank, brake and fuel lines, wheel bearings, and carburetor body. Had a local shop who specializes jeeps go through everything before I bought it home. The frame is in great shape. Also has the rear wheel wells notched to give more leg room. Installed tilt steering column for additional room. Original steel body is solid. Had the front floors professionally replaced. Rear corners have some rust. Windshield frame is showing its age, but its a great project to finish. Purchase will include a windshield frame that I planned to install over the winter. I also have a brand new DUI electronic ignition system that I wanted to install but since it runs so good, I have been holding off. I will include this uninstalled with this purchase. In addition I have a rear seat that was not installed, also included. Jeep drives straight, fun to drive, does not leak any fluids. Mechanically it has no issues that I am aware of. All gauges work. Has been garage kept for at least the past 15-20 years. I hate to sell it, but I am trying to consolidate a few projects before winter. I still drive this on nice days/weekends, so mileage will vary from what is posted by 50-100 miles.What is not included in this price is the Warn 8274 winch. I rebuilt this winch last year. If you buy this jeep we can work out another deal on the winch if desired. Right now I have other plans for the winch.
