1987 JEEP WRANGLER RARE 1 YEAR ONLY COLOR SUN YELLOW CODE 2B ONLY ROT FREE

1987 Jeep Wrangler base model

Selling my 1987 jeep wrangler with a 1 year only paint code 2B sun yellow which is very hard to find in this condition! It has a perfect auto-check and car-fax reports. This is a rot free and extremely hard to find jeep in this color. It was produce within the first 70 days of the YJ jeep wrangler era. They start rolling out the YJ wranglers in mid march of 1986 and this jeep was produce on may 30,1986. Only 2 owners before my purchase and the only reason I was able to buy it was the older couples wife pass away. This was her jeep since 2000 and they use it out in western Colorado and Utah. The couple were planning on giving the jeep to there older son and had all the maintenance done for him but decided the jeep was not for him. The work done was new water pump, t-stat, brake master cylinder and clutch cylinder and new brakes all around. Some work didn't need to be done but he had it done anyways. I have done a oil flush and oil change since my purchase and installed new 235/75/15 Goodyear wrangler tires. The rpm just purrs when idle and the jeep shifts really tight as it should with low miles on it. The paint shines like brand new and the interior is like new except the drives seat does have a few wear marks. All gauges still work and even the clock still works!! All glass is good with no cracks or chips. The jeep has the 4.2 straight 6 with the 5 speed transmission and the 20 gallon optional fuel tank. Since this jeep wrangler was in the early stages bought from American Motors Corporation its has some parts on it that has the AMC logo like the am radio which still works and lights up and the rear hatch window shocks. The jeep rolls down the road like brand new with no funny noises or sounds. Horn blows and 4wd works with the light coming on when engage. Wipers and dome lamp work also. The jeep did not come with a center console but the pervious owner put a aftermarket console in it and had there cb radio attach to it. I took that out and put a console from a 1993 jeep wrangler. I still have that other console and the cb radio. With the cb radio they did have the antenna mounted to left side of the fender see pic. I took that off and had silicone installed and touch it up. I have the antenna and mount bracket that will go with the jeep if someone wants to put it back on. Its only 2 bolts and very simply. The jeep is located in Denver Colorado and could be driving home very easy or you can have it shipped. I can suggest a shipper if needed that I have used for the last 25 years. The rubber floor mats do not come with the jeep but the original carpets ones do. If you have any questions please ask or if you like more pics.
