1979 Jeep CJ
The 302 engine was removed from a 1993 Ford Mustang GT. This engine was reconditioned with new gaskets, seals, new injectors, Hot Forged DUI distributor, Screaming Demon Coil and LiveWires by Performance Distributors. A new Ron Francis wire harness was installed with a refurbished A9L ECU. The T-18transmission is the Ford version with the 6.32:1 gears. The transmission and the Dana 20 transfer case were rebuilt and installed by Overbuilt Customs in Jacksonville,FL. A Novak billet aluminum cover pan and front output rear billet cap were installed. The front and rear axles have aluminum covers for increased fluid capacity for better cooling and drain plugs for easy service. The GenRightfuel tank and powerboost brake system were recently installed by OverbuiltCustoms as well. All gauges are fully functional unctional.
