1985 jeep cj7 laredo sport utility 2-door California Jeep 99.9% rust free
1985 Jeep CJ
bought this from original owners. Sat for 5 years or more with only being moved around yard. It is the Fully loaded Jeep Laredo with I believe to be every option that could be had in 1985. 135k original miles with straight 6 and 5 speed Trans, Factory AC that is complete but needs service. Heater,Tachometer,Cigar Lighter,Fog Lights,Exterior Step, Laredo package with all options. Runs and Drives nicely down the road. 4x4 works as it should.New paint and stickers,reupholstered front seats to match original. New steering box alignment and tires. Very nice original Calif. Jeep. Registered in Az. to avoid back fees and smog.Here is the bad, mostly rust free only passenger floor has a few pin holes still solid,Carpet on floors was bad and removed. Radio not working, Vehicle runs great but I unhooked some of the vaccum hoses that would need to be replaced to pass Calif. Emissions or replace carb with Howell Fuel Injection which is 50 state compliant and is an amazing update. That was my plan before I decided to sell. California buyers will need to bevrespinsible for smog check . Brakes work good and no problems but I was going to put new hoses and pads but have not done it yet. Valve cover is original plastic and prone to leaking this does have some seepage and leaksca bit. AC all intact but needs service.
