1989 Jeep Comanche

Hello watchers and jeep enthusiasts,
This is a good find I do believe, and has helped me travel throughout the west and southwest. Unfortunately I have been unable to keep up with putting more time and TLC into what I call Bluebird. With the purchase of a house and marrying into a family that has more than 3 people in it, this once daily driver has been retired and a newer more family friendly, not a 3 seater bench seat, vehicle has been purchased.
Things that are known about Bluebird:
Only a little over 30,000 miles have been placed on it by myself since my purchase in 2013, whilst on the Western Slopes of Colorado. This jeep was a rancher farm truck and has been rhino lined in the bed of the truck. Unfortunately I do not know all of the details of what was replaced but at the time of purchase from the Pollard Brothers Dealer, they did do a lift of I believe 3 inches, as well as increased the size of the tires. Bluebird and I moved down to AZ shortly after and did some light hauling of metal sculptures and some art shows, nothing that put this truck to hard labor mind you, it is a little truck. We then moved up to MN which is where we have been living since. I don't know what the difference in care for roads is, in comparison to CO and AZ but the road treatment process has been a little unkind to this little pickup, as some rust has now set in some locations. Primarily the back bumper, bottom corners of the driver and passenger doors, and the floor board of the driver's floor. The mirror on the passenger side was in an unfortunate accident with a what I believe to be a drunk person and icy walking path because when I didn't see my mirror on my door one morning I had to walk down a hill to find it lying in the snow. Which this brings me to final point, 4X4 4WD does work and is used during winter months, with a couple of sand bags in the bed, the rear end stays down and traction is maintained. Differentials have been checked and lubricated.
AS for other items that have been worked on:
- New Custom Drive shaft was installed 4 years ago
- New ceramic brakes installed 1 year ago, rear are still drums but also replaced at same time- New muffler installed this year- Recent tune up this last year- New tires updated less than 15,000 miles ago (Kevlar sided, and quieter tread pattern for on road driving)- New headlight installed within last year as well as tail lights- New water pump and thermostat this last year- Joints have all been checked and lubricated within last year
Most of the work was completed prior to purchase of newer more family friendly vehicle and new home. Has been sitting for a couple months, but with the occasional weekend drive and weekly starting to ensure proper running condition.
Things that I know that will need worked on:- The floor board- Wiring harness will need to be addressed at some point, everything is working, just was rewired before I purchased- Passenger side door armrest and window crank
This vehicle never had A/C just cool air blasting, which has had blower motor replaced within last two years.
- Clean Title

( Update ) Since Sunday Nov 26 2023 has not turned over, is cranking, new fuel filter, line if clean and clear and pressure is achieved, just not turning over. I'm sorry.
