1966 Jeep CJ-5A Tuxedo Park Mark IV. This was Jeep's first special edition to bring a more upscale feel to the CJ line. This is considered a separate model from the CJ-5 including the unique VIN number starting with 8322.Engine is the Dauntless 225 CID V6. 160 HP and 235 Ft/LBS of torque. This was the upgraded engine over the 134 CID inline 4.Engine has new carburetor with electric choke. New fuel lines and gas tank. Pertronix electronic ignition, new distributor cap, rotor, wires and plugs. New speedometer shows 2,500 miles. Original gauge included shows 65,000 miles. Transmission is a T86 3 speed manual. Rear axle Dana 44, Front axle Dana 27. The front axle has recently been gone through with new wiper seals, wheel bearings, king pin bearings. Knuckles were upgraded to studs to strengthen the spindle mounts. Steering drag link and bell crank were rebuilt as well. Front disc brake conversion using GM 3/4 ton truck parts. The master cylinder was also upgraded to a dual pot Disc/Drum unit with adjustable proportioning valve. Stock drum brakes Included with sale.Interior has optional rear bench and optional side facing pads.Exterior was repainted by a previous owner. Has chips on high traffic areas. Driver quality paint.
