Runs and drives amazing.
258 I6 and 5 speed (T5) manual transmission.
Power steering and front disc brakes.
2.5” Rocky Road lift on original wheels wrapped in fresh 33x10.50x15 Maxxis Razr MT Tires and matching spare.
Gauges, lights/ blinkers, and wipers are all in working order. Horn is there but not working.
Radio also works but original speakers need to be switched out.
Period correct and working Warn 8274 winch.
Tilt wheel, windows roll up and down nicely, and dash pad is in good condition.
BestTop soft top and BestTop seats (both tilt forward, I also have the back seat but no hardtop) and new Black Mountain seatbelts.
New Borgeson steering joint.
Originally a California Jeep with the desirable serpentine belt system. Was first registered in Arkansas in 1988 with 20,268 miles, and has been here since. At some point during that time span, a shotgun went off in the back, hence the hole in the tailgate. There is also a rock chip in the windshield that has been sealed.
Overall, a great, not perfect, but super vintage 1986 CJ 7 that is ready to roll. Perfect for evening cruises, a beach house cruiser, or a mountain hideaway back road cruiser.
