Selling my 1980 Jeep J10 Honcho Sportside. Original AMC 360 2bbl V8, Automatic trans, 4x4, Factory A/C power steering and power disc brakes. very well equipped with all the best options for 1980 including the sport side bed, roll bar and bucket seats. I am technically the 3rd owner the first two registered owners were a father and son. I've had it for about 10 years, it runs and drives good and is rust free, could use a couple of things I mention in the video I've included above. This is a rare Truck with only 1264 Sportside Honchos made from 1980-83 that's 316 per year, only the 80 model still had the "eyebrow visor roof" making this the rarest year, and on top of that many of these came with inline 6's manual transmissions, no options roll bar or came in a ugly color... this (subjectively) is the best optioned and best color combo you could get, it's the same as the one James Brolin (famous actor and racer) won desert racing in the early 80's the only difference is mine is still original (his was rebuilt and modified) and has it's original drive train. I believe the truck to only have 31k original miles, I can't provide evidence but I can tell you that over the last 20 years it hasn't been used much at all, it had an 2004 tag when I got it. and considering it's original use as a plow truck for a ranch in Tehachapi CA I have no reason to doubt the mileage... but either way whether it is 31k or 131k, it is in amazing solid condition for it's age all things considered. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere with a new set of tires and a new filler neck grommet, I currently drive it around town from time to time and it gets so much attention as is and never has any problems... I've seen some of these online or at "jeep heritage" not original but fully frame off rebuilt go for $150k and some others similar to mine with 350 chevy's swapped in that still sold for $40k (I can provide links to prove it) This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for someone to own one of the rarest and most sought after full size Jeeps of all time in the most original condition of any out there that I've seen.
