This is a very cool Jeep Honcho in need of a full restoration. It has typical Jeep rust issues but it looks like it has good bones. Please see the link above for ~80 photos that really tell the story of the truck's condition. The truck came from Iowa but is currently in Kentucky. The paint appears to be original and you can still see what remains of the original Honcho decals. It also has the Levi's decals on the front fenders and Levi's interior details. Odometer reads 15,920 miles - I assume it has rolled over and has 115,920 miles.
The truck had been sitting for a few years. I recently got it running and driving again with a new battery, battery tray, fuel filter, and some fresh gas. It now starts, runs, and drives (see links to videos above). It has not been tuned up so I expect it would run even better with some further attention.
Four new B.F. Goodrich All-Terrain T/A tires were recently installed. Please note that some of the photos were before the new tires were installed.
This would be a great foundation for an awesome restoration project or just have fun driving it while you make improvements!
There is no reserve after the starting bid and there is no "Buy it Now." I intend to let the auction run its course.
