1990 Jeep Wrangler

2.4 liter, (4 cylinder) 5 speed manual.
It's still driveable but I wouldn't recommend long distance and tops out at 60mph. Must go. Would be a great project or used for parts.
Current issues:
New (used) transfer case for a 90 YJ. It lined up with the transmission but the spedo and 4 wheel drive linkage did not match, so I think the transmission is from a 94.Replaced the clutch master and slave cylinders and they matched up to the 94 trans (external slave) and not the 90 (internal slave). The 4 wheel drive does not work because it needs to be lined up.
The synchros are messed up in the trans, it shifts fine accelerating but wont allow you to downshift. 2nd gear is ground down but still there. The motor is solid, but there's a backpressure issue so can't seal the exhaust tight.
The steering is a little loose, the struts need replacing, replaced the brake calipers and rotors, There's a vacuum line that's hissing, the step-sides rusted off because of salty sandals and some rust on the hood from dripping saltwater from hauling kayaks.
