I am listing my beautiful 1979 CJ5 for sale. I've owned it for 20 years and it has been meticulously maintained and stored indoors, no major off roading, only used for driving around town on weekends and to car shows. Zero rust California only Jeep. 4WD works great. Has the original 258 ci 4.2 liter inline 6 which was rebuilt approximately 15,000 miles ago, 4 speed transmission shifts nice and smooth and has a new clutch. It has a brand-new carburetor, new EGR valve and fuel tank lines. Starts up perfectly every time. All smog equipment is functional and hooked up (passes

California Smog test). Has brand new 33x10.50 BFG K02 All Terrain tires and new wheels. New Rancho shocks. Front disc brakes. Also comes

with new custom rear rack by Wilderness Racks with two 5-gallon gas cans and full-size spare tire. No dents or dings and paint is beautiful. We had the tub professionally modified for more leg room, so you get the classic look of a CJ5 with the legroom of a CJ7. Seats are in terrific shape with an adjustable driver's seat. Gas filler relocated inside fender well to allow the custom rear end look of the earlier CJ5s. All new fluids in engine, transfer case, transmission and both differentials. Dana 44 rear with Dana 300 transfer case. Has factory limited slip

differential. Steering is tight and solid. This is a great, unmolested classic CJ5 that can be driven anywhere. It is extremely reliable and drives 60-65 mph no problem on the highway. Has stereo for phone/iPod connection
