1966 CJ- 5 Dauntless 225 V6, 3 speed 4x4. This desert gem would make a great hunting rig or a very easy restoration project. This jeep is 99% rust free. It starts right up and runs, shift, brakes and drives. I bought from an older gentleman would used it and cared for it well. It has seen many desert trails in its life and has plenty of life still in it.
All gauges work except for speedo. I will include a spare that seems okay. good oil pressure and produces zero smoke when starting or driving. Has a slight rough idle that stems from a vacuumleak on carb. the after market turn signal lever broke test driving. I purchased a new one that is will be in glove box.
The jeep came with a soft top and soft doors that had seen better days. I removed but will include in the deal. ( see pics )
I am a cj7 person so this jeep is a little out of my wheelhouse. I am not an expert on this era but I can see that it is a very solid little jeep.
