You are bidding on a very unique prior military surplus 1979 Jeep CJ5. These vehicles are extremely rare and hard to find! This is a no reserve auction with starting bid at $13,999.00. This Jeep is a beast and runs strong, 95% original and uncut frame with very minimal surface rust. These military vehicles are becoming increasingly hard to find especially in this condition. For age and mostly orignial I would put this at a solid 6 out of 10 in unrestored condition. Jeep starts right up and runs strong although it does drive like an old Jeep and lots of play in the steering which can be adjusted. Minor oil leak and has been garaged kept for most of its life after its military service. You can still make out some of the military lettering on the front hood which at some point was spray painted over. Wipers and heat controls don't work and I have never had them looked at as I mainly drive for fun on nice sunny days. Headlights, blinkers and all exterior lights do work. 3 speed Manuel transmission. Tip is aftermarket, Bestop soft top which includes doors. Please ask any questions you may have prior to bidding.
