1980 Jeep CJ

This 1980 Jeep CJ5 has the bold look from a restoration that has only about 2,300 miles on it. And while that will instantly capture your attention, what makes this one irresistible are all the terrific upgrades, like V8 power, four-on-the-floor, and air conditioning. Yes, you read that right, this is an A/C Jeep!
The CJ5 is the iconic short-wheel base, go-anywhere Jeep. But just because it can get you deep into the wild, doesn't mean it shouldn't look nice out on the town, too. The yellow is a more recent application, so it has a vibrant luster in the sunlight. There are even good details, like the polished mirrors and clear turn signals. Plus, this brightness has a good-looking contrast with the black elements, like the fender flares, Pro Comp Crawler bumpers, and beefy side steps. And speaking of beefy, you can see that this Jeep was designed for real off-road action. That's why you have a raised stance, tow hooks front & rear, and even a tow hitch to bring extra fun with you. There has been a new black soft top and doors added recently. So not only are all the windows clean and clear, but also the nice black goes with the rest of the accessories to give this Jeep an almost two-tone presentation.
As good as this looks with the top in place, a true Jeep is meant to be open to the world. That's why the dark accents return inside. It's also easy to spot plenty of upgrades in this fresh build. It starts with new Corbeau seating all-around. The front high-back buckets even have a Tuffy lockbox armrest center console in-between. Security is a central theme here with features like a proper roll barn and upgraded four-point harnesses for everyone. It's easy to get comfortable in this CJ thanks to all the right features, including a tilt steering column, cup holders, and a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner. There's even cold blowing R-134A air-conditioning, so that going deep into nature can be done without breaking a sweat.
The extra-tidy engine bay reveals a terrific upgrade. After all, a Chevy 350 cubic-inch V8 has the same kind of robust reputation as the Jeep. This one seemed to get the full Edelbrock upgrades kit with appearance pieces like the ribbed valve covers and matching air topper. Plus, it has the performance upgrades like the intake and four-barrel carburetor. A nice set of shorty headers complete this powerful package while also contributing to the rumble of the dual exhaust. And this has the right supporting components, like an aluminum radiator w/electric fan and an Optima yellow top battery that actually coordinates with the rest of this Jeep. You have full control over the V8 thanks to the Tremec four-speed manual transmission. On the trail, this V8 is a great partner with the sturdy 4x4 components like the two-speed transfer case, Rugged Ridge ORV lift, and Dick Cepek DC-2 wheels Goodyear Wrangler tires. Even the full frame is powered-coated for durability. While you're checking that out, you'll also notice the full fresh look of this recent build, including newer bushings. It gives this a solid feel on or off the road. And this usability is backs up by nice anytime driving features like power steering and power brakes.
Complete with restoration photos, this is an awesome build that gives you everything you want for both comfort and ability. That makes for an awesome classic Jeep that you need to get you hand on right now. Call today!!!
