1978 Jeep CJ CJ7 Renegade Levi Edition

Up for a NO-RESERVE auction is my 1978 Jeep Renegade Levi Edition. This is such a great Jeep! It is a very sound and tastefully updated CJ7. It is the Renegade package with the Levi Edition. It still sports the original paint and graphics which have a great patina! The body is rust free and super straight for being over 40 years old. Only surface rust on the front floor boards where the paint has worn off and several other locations where the paint has chipped or scratched. NO Rust through, super straight and very solid! There is a small area, shown in the pictures, right behind the passenger door opening that had bodywork done in the past and is now popping through the paint. It looks like the heavy doors may have kinked that area and it was repaired and they added bracing on the interior and both sides to avoid any further damage. All new Smittybilt front and rear bumpers. New, never used Smittybilt XRC-9500 winch with handheld remote control, 5 all-new wheels and 33-12.5-15 tires. Fairly fresh lift, I believe 4" Rancho, with all new springs, shackles and shocks. The full soft top is in great shape with half doors and the metal doors which are also in great shape. The original denim fabric on the seats has been recovered sometime in the past with vinyl. Nice locking center console. All the gauges and interior lights work. The fuel gauge isn't accurate though. Tilt steering wheel, good CD stereo and four speakers. All accessories work except the wipers, they worked when I got the Jeep but after I installed the new windshield frame rubber seal, they stopped working. I believe I pinched the wires, just haven't had time to fix it. Even the windshield washer works! The Jeep runs fantastic! It is the 258 in-line 6 cylinder with the manual 4 speed transmission. The clutch feels good and it shifts through the gears easily. It has been rewired with a Painless wiring kit. It has a Weber carburetor and the exhaust system appears to be fairly fresh. Most of the engine accessories look to be newer such as the alternator, fuel pump, radiator etc. As well as it runs, the new motor mounts, Painless wiring kit and other new stuff under the hood leads me to believe this Jeep has been re-powered fairly recently. I can't verify that, just my opinion. The previous owner said he rebuilt both the front and rear ends. While in there, he had a locker installed in the front end. There is a dash mounted toggle switch to actuate it. It has the manual Warn hubs up front. Please see the 2 videos of the CJ7 I have included below the pictures!
For being over 40 years old, this Jeep runs and drives great and looks great doing it! I have a clear Washington state title in my name ready to sign over to the new owner.
