NO RESERVE Auction for 1983 Jeep Cherokee Chief Wide Track w Factory AMC 4BBL V8 360-T176 4SPD Manual Transmission, NP 208 and AMC 20 rear w Lockout hubs and Cooper Discovery S/T tires. Odometer reads 31,190, but mileage unknown. The odometer only has 5 digits, so could be 131,190.
Montana Jeep 98+% rust free. Some small spots on bottom of rear flares have been patched by Previous Owner. Otherwise solid! No rust on tailgate or under doors or anywhere else, just some peeling paint in spots. Truck was originally red. I did not touch-up the paint on floorboards so you can see the solid red floorboards where the black paint is peeling from sticking to the floor mats.Driver seat side panels are torn. No headliner. Bought out West and brought East and fully undercoated. Factory 4BBL AMC 360 (strong) with the 4 SPD Manual T-176 twin stick transmission (2 HI, 4 HI, 4 Low) with factory lockout hubs up front and AMC 20 rear. 4WD works as it should. Trailer hitch. Starts right up and runs strong, drives and stops. Rear manual crank window works and locks. Windshield is cracked. Passed DC emissions (exhaust only). I have driven this from Idaho (my sister in Idaho went to Montana w her husband to pick it up) to DC with no issues other than normal carb adjustments. Hard to find factory combo of V8 and manual - 1983 was last year of Full-Size Cherokees and Cherokee Chiefs. Sold as-is no warranty.
