This is a 1978 CJ5 that has been totally re-done, frame off. The frame and body were blasted and painted. The underside and interior has been bed lined. The wheelbase has been stretched, and has 1978 dodge 1/2 ton axles with 4.88 gears, open carrier. It has power brakes, and steering. The engine started out as a 35,000 mile motor, which was rebuilt with new bearings, rings, gaskets, etc. It has a factory two barrel carb. HEI distributor, runs great. Three speed trans with new clutch. Has a 15 gal fuel cell with holley electric fuel pump and regulator. all body mounts, bolts, grommets, everything has been replaced. True dual exhaust with short glass packs, so she's pretty loud. Has new bikini top and older half doors, this is the only top for it. The tires are practically new 37/12.5 17 on new rims. have only driven it about 50 miles since rebuild, it runs down the road great, steers and stops great.
