Selling a very clean 1986 CJ7 Laredo with ICE COLD AC and original SUN ROOF! The Jeep has an upgraded electronic ignition, new front seat belts, Led head lights, Led light bar, electric fuel pump and aftermarket Old Man EMU leaf Springs. As you can see in the pictures this jeep is very original and very clean. The body is in great condition, the paint and decals are original, although the clear coat has faded on the hood the paint still looks remarkably good. This is the Laredo package so comes with a factory tachometer and clock. The clock is currently stuck but I'm sure with a good cleaning could become operational again. The speedometer, odometer, gas, water, oil and amp gauges all work great!
The jeep just had a fresh oil change, it starts right up and idles good. The transmission is a 5 speed and shifts nice and smooth through all the gears, I haven't had it pop out of any gear. Its feels like a very solid transmission. Clutch feels great! Transfer case shifts nice and smooth through 2H, 4H and 4L. 4x4 works great as well. Has factory disk brakes up front and drum brakes in the rear, they work fantastic. Emergency brake works great as well. It also has what looks to be a factory sway bar mounted on the front axle. The tires are Goodyear Wrangler with Kevlar 32x11.50R15 these tires are near $1000 before mounting and balancing, A very good and durable tire. The wheels are in good shape but the chrome is showing age. There is some surface rust on the passenger side under the carpet and a rust spot in the rear wheel wells. The floors and under the jeep are the cleanest I have seen in a jeep this age. It even has the original jack and tire iron mounted on the fender, a working windshield wiper washer tank, Heater, AC and more. This would be a great restoration project or to enjoy as is.
The jeep is located in Crawford Colorado. I can keep it garaged until pickup or shipping can be arranged. A $1000 down payment is due within 24hrs of auction and full payment is due within 7 days via Cash Cashiers check or Wire transfer. The jeep is sold as is where is and the buyer is responsible for shipping the jeep.
