This Jeep has been driven 40 miles round trip to work at least once per week, been taken to Bantam 2018, Toured the hills of Amish Country on Sunday Drives, thrilled my kids with a sense of simpler times, experiencing the "manual" choke starting procedure...I could go on all day about this cool Kaiser-Jeep, but it's probably best if you ask the questions!
Story of this Jeep: I purchased it last year from a soybean farmer in Indiana who told me the best he could recall, this ole mail jeep was from a small Indiana Town - maybe "Peru" whose post office closed, and this "Barn Find" was discovered months after the towns original Jeep was sold at auction. That was when he purchased it with only a few thousand miles on it.
All original nostalgic low production number 1969 Kaiser-Jeep DJ5A purchase 9/25/2017 with 19888.3 miles on it. Last time it was driven the odometer reflected 22,222.2 original miles.
This jeep is one of a kind, and is a historical vehicle. You will NOT Find another, in this good of shape anywhere. Off or on-line. This is a true "survivor" from the early days of Snail Mail.
Icould go on all day about this cool Kaiser-Jeep, but it's probably best if you ask the questions!
